Charming old and exceptional place, fine food offered for continental breakfast. Very attentive and wonderfully helpful staff especially the receptionist, recently renovated double room. The view from the window to the sea. Lovely and incredible location in the breathtaking area, close to the gardens and bus stops, the hill to the central gardens and town in about 10 minutes, and the beach, shops and restaurants. Plus, 5 minutes drive from North Shore.

Thanks a lot all for a very nice stay on a Shearings weekend. Double room was recently refurbished and stylish had hypoallergenic pillows and down pillows. Continental breakfasts with pastries and juice was satisfactory. It was in the central location in the lawned garden. Nothing too much trouble, loved this place and 100% recommend.
Although everything was very good, some of the staff were poorly trained.
